Even though Alla Vard came from a high society family in Russia she insisted to design and make her own clothes. At the age of 6 she first started sowing. Five years later, at the age of 11, she made her first piece of clothing for her mom. It was an elegant evening dress. By the time Alla Vard was in her mid-twenties she designed her Haute-Couture gowns and begun selling them to the upper-class. When All Vard and her family arrived in the U.S. in 1990 it took her about ten more years to remarket her gowns to become as popular as they once were. After making custom wedding dresses for five years at Catan’s Bridal in Ohio and six years at Tatiana in Boston for hundreds of brides and upper-class women.

Allison Blake was born and in France. She studied Fashion Design at Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design and graduated with her Masters Degree. After Allison Blake graduated she opened her own wedding dress design company in London; as of 2004 its 19th year anniversary. She only designs her wedding dresses uses the finest materials of duchesse satin, fine voile, taffeta, and marocain. The Allison Blake wedding gown design is a mix between haute couture and contemporary styles. Allison Blake has been awarded ten British Bridal Awards.

Victoria McMillan designs Alvina Valenta classic couture gown collection. These gowns are elegant, and show a level of sophistication.
